Retraction Policy
BKK is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record and may retract published articles when serious ethical or scientific concerns are identified.
Policy Statement
Articles published in Berkala Kesehatan Klinik may be retracted when there is strong evidence that the publication contains serious scientific errors, ethical misconduct, or other violations that compromise the reliability, originality, or integrity of the scholarly record.
Grounds for Retraction

Unreliable Findings
Retraction may be issued when there is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, whether due to research misconduct, such as data fabrication or falsification, or due to honest error, such as miscalculation, methodological flaws, or experimental mistakes.

Redundant or Duplicate Publication
Retraction may occur if the findings have been previously published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing, disclosure, permission, or sufficient editorial justification, including cases of duplicate or redundant publication.

Plagiarism
Articles containing plagiarism, including unattributed use of another person’s ideas, data, text, figures, or other intellectual contributions, may be retracted in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics standards.

Unethical Research
Retraction may also be applied when a published article reports research conducted in violation of accepted ethical standards, including lack of required ethical approval, absence of informed consent where applicable, or other serious breaches of research ethics.

The mechanism for retraction in Berkala Kesehatan Klinik follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
